Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information AdLedger (the "App") handles, why, and the choices you have. The App is operated by JoCoding, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("JoCoding", "we"). We designed the App so that most data stays on your device.
1. Who we are
JoCoding, Inc., 1111B S Governors Ave, STE 80543, Dover, DE 19904, United States. Email: mu07010@jocoding.net. Phone: +1 (231) 450-5622.
2. Information the App handles
The table below lists everything the App handles, who holds it and how to turn it off.
- Google account email and read-only access tokens for AdMob, AdSense and (optionally) Google Ads. Held in your device's Keychain.
- Earnings, impressions, clicks and ad spend reports retrieved from Google and Apple. Held only in the App's cache on your device.
- If you turn on alerts: your Google refresh token (encrypted), account identifiers (publisher ID, name, currency, time zone) and your push token. Held on our server hosted by Cloudflare, and deleted when you turn alerts off.
- Apple Ads API credentials (Client ID, Team ID, Key ID, private key), if you connect Apple Ads. Held in your device's Keychain and sent only to Apple's servers, never to ours.
- Anonymous usage statistics (which screens and features are used), device model, OS and app version, using a random per-install ID that is not linked to your Google account. Processed by PostHog.
- Install, launch and purchase-funnel events (no advertising ID). Sent to Meta for measuring our own advertising.
- Subscription and purchase status and a customer ID. Processed by RevenueCat and Apple.
- Crash reports without personal identifiers. Processed by Sentry.
- For free users: ad requests handled by Google AdMob inside the App.
3. Information we do not collect
We do not collect your Google password, payment card details, precise location, contacts, or your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising profiles.
4. Google API Services User Data Policy
AdLedger's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data from Google APIs is used only to show you your earnings and spend and to send the alerts you request. It is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide these features, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or sale with notice to you. No humans read this data unless you ask for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
5. How we use information and our legal bases
We use information to show your reports, calculate ROAS, deliver alerts, manage subscriptions, keep the App secure and stable, and improve it. For users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland the legal bases are performance of a contract (providing the App), our legitimate interests (security, stability, measuring our advertising) and, for analytics and advertising measurement, your consent.
6. Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the App: Cloudflare (server hosting, only if you enable alerts), PostHog (analytics), Meta (advertising measurement), RevenueCat and Apple (subscriptions), Sentry (crash reporting) and Google (AdMob ads for free users, and the Google APIs you connect). These providers process data under their own terms and policies.
7. Analytics defaults and your choice
In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland (based on your device region; if it cannot be determined we treat you as being in one of these regions) analytics and Meta events are off until you give consent. Elsewhere anonymous analytics are on by default. In every region you can change this at any time in Settings > Anonymous usage statistics. Free users in the EU and UK also see Google's consent message for ads.
8. Retention and deletion
Data on your device is deleted when you disconnect an account or delete the App. Data on our server is deleted immediately when you turn alerts off in Settings or remove the account. Analytics, purchase and crash data are kept by the respective providers for as long as their policies allow and are not linked to your Google account.
9. Security
Tokens and credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain. Tokens stored on our server are encrypted. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
10. International transfers
JoCoding is based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or Korea's PIPA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. Most data is on your device and under your control; for anything on our server, email us and we will respond within the time required by law.
12. Children
The App is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
13. Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. If a change is material we will notify you in the App.
